Sino-Japanese Tensions

The large-scale anti-Japanese demonstration in China was globally reported.
L..jakobson, Senior Researcher at the Finish Institute Affairs says that unlike past rows, this is not just a passing
phenomenon. In the long run,Japan-China relations will be a major source of worry for East Asia. Also M. Pei,
Washington.D.C.-based Sinologist says that 'When we look back, this will be seen as a turning point in
Sino- Japanese relations'.

My American acquaintance, a professor of Yokohama Gaigo college criticizes the diplomacy of Japan is too naive.
Japan lacks in the propaganda with the wartime responsibility compared to Germany.

Actually, Japan compensated $ 34 billion ( \35 billion ) and contributed to the development of China. But Japan is still seen as the country that can not say sorry in spite of numerous apologies by Japanese leaders. Few Chinese people are aware of this fact, because it seldom mentioned in the Chinese media.

According to the Newsweek, Beijing regime could not help making the hypothetical enemy named Japan by
using nationalism in order to avoid the spawned frustration over the yawning gap between rich and poor.
Nationalism , once unleased,  is not easy to control.

Lie Rui, a former secretary of Mao Zedong says nobody understands Marxism. Marxism is dead as a motivating ideology.

My comment:

I predict China will be a big rival for not only Japan but the USA. in near future. Japan can not accept China's assertion with South Sea gas field. Once admitted, Okinawa and even Kyushu might belong to China's territory.
it is funny China never agree with the 200 sea-mile international treaty so far. Territorial disputes always inspire
the nationalism. Consequently, this leads to riots and war.
